Welcome to GP's Kitchen
GP’s Kitchen was founded by us, Noris and Leilani Vargas, and the name comes from our daughters, Ginger and Pepper.
It all started when my wife, Leilani wanted to share and sell the Garlic Chilli Oil that I made, she loved its taste so much that I began offering it to friends and family, and that became our very first product.
When New Zealand went into its first COVID-19 lockdown, our jobs were affected, so we decided to start selling the oil to people we didn’t know. To our surprise, it was a huge success, and we soon began introducing more products.
After the lockdowns, we started selling at night and Sunday markets and eventually began supplying our products to supermarkets across Auckland, New Zealand.
Our goal is to bring the “restaurant flavour” to every family’s home cooked meals.

Our chili oil has a bold, flavourful heat that customers often describe as “restaurant-style” spicy.
It’s not overwhelming, but it does bring a satisfying kick. If you enjoy a medium-to-hot level of spice, you’ll love it.
Do you offer international shipping?
At this stage, we only offer shipping within New Zealand. However, we’re working on expanding our options in the future.
We do! Our bundle deals and gift packs are usually available during special seasons like Christmas, Black Friday, and other holidays.
